Scent of Summer

Us Neilson girls are always on the hunt for the perfect summer fragrance, so you can imagine our joy when we discovered Laboratory Perfumes - the most delicious scents and all made in the UK. Gorse is fresh and punchy, while Amber is slightly more deep and earthy.

Here's the science bit... "Inspired by the flora of the countryside, Laboratory Perfumes have created two  clean, pure and modern fragrances, evocative of nature. Whilst the packaging reflects a love of simplicity, the fragrances are extremely complex and have an evolutionary life on the skin. The elegant, clear glass bottles and candle beaker echo the origins of the traditional perfumiers laboratory."

Gorse; subtle notes of cardamon transport us to the coast and countryside. Gorse is fresh and zesty with citrus top notes. Amber; balmy layers of wood, earth and ambergris, with green spicy top notes.

What's New

More new stuff arrived today. Two of my personal favourite pieces from I R O: The Erin check shirt I have been lusting after since I spotted it at the I R O Show. I love the androgynous feel of a masculine shirt with very skinny jeans and heels... very Emmanuelle Alt. It has a washed out feel to it, like its been in your wardrobe for years, it was love at first sight for me!

And who doesn't love a printed jean, the Janina woven print jeans teamed with a cool summer blazer... weekend outfit sorted!
